Two is better than one!
Taylor Swift dropped a second music video for her single “Delicate” on Friday, exclusive to Spotify, weeks after releasing a magical version where she turns invisible and dances her heart away.
In the new video, the 28-year-old singer sheds the high concept of her first effort with Joseph Kahn, in what appears to be a simple one-take head-on shot of Swift swaying and singing to the intimate, low-key song in a clearing in the woods.
The video itself is only available to Spotify subscribers, but Swift posted a short clip of the production to Twitter:
On Thursday, Swift took to Instagram to announce the new video.
“Hey guys, I’m at rehearsals for the Reputation Stadium Tour,” she shared. “And I just wanted to let you know there’s a brand-new video for ‘Delicate’ coming out only on Spotify tonight.”
The “You Belong With Me” singer premiered the first “Delicate” music video during the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards broadcast on March 11, while accepting her award for Female Artist of the Year. The visual was filmed over two nights in downtown Los Angeles and featured historic landmarks such as the Los Angeles Theatre and Biltmore Hotel.
It also features a sly nod to Swift’s beau, Joe Alwyn, as she dances down a city street, past a sign for “Joe’s Deli.”
