Influencer Jovan Hill is the latest amid a slew of sexual assault allegations to be called out this week online. Hill claims he was “too intoxicated to remember it” but there are still multiple accusations against him. In what appears to be another wave of the Me, Too movement, male celebrities have been called out for actions against them, creating a rather long list of people facing controversy.
In this instance, Jovan Hill, an openly gay YouTuber and Twich Streamer, was the center of a string of tweets describing an interaction between him and Twitter user @WhiteyPPG.
Aye fuck it I hate cancel culture but if I don’t say this now homies still gonna be out there doin this shit so here it goes – last year Jovan Mill pressured me to get way drunk at a bar and then tried to have sex with me while I was past out and didn’t stop until I said

Hill took to his instagram account to post a statement. Jovan admits to having a sexual encounter with his accuser, but says they were both drunk when this incident happened. He posted, “This is a blurry situation for me because of how drunk I was and without a side of the story to tell I don’t have a lot to say. But being drunk doesn’t make me innocent.” and “none of this is an excuse and I understand if people are uncomfortable following or supporting me and I’d like to apologize to riley [@WhitneyPPG] for putting him in that situation”.
Jovan says any harm caused by that night was unintentional, as he thought the experience was drunk but consensual. He claims to have no idea they ended on bad terms, however he still apologies to Riley for being hurt by the situation.

I was sent a twitter thread and I tried to reach out to him directly but I couldn’t, I’m not trying to remove accountability from myself with this but we were both drunk to the point I wasn’t sure how or why I was in his room the next morning confused I don’t have any recollection of night, so I’m going to take his word about what happened. I thought he just unfollowed me because it was awkward— I didn’t think about again it because we hadn’t spoken or seen each other since then… I would never intentionally try to pressure someone into sleeping with me sober and I didn’t know about this until today. I wasn’t in a state to consent either so I didn’t think it was a possibility. This is a blurry situation for me because of how drunk I was and without a side of the story to tell I don’t have a lot to say. But being drunk doesn’t make me innocent. I wish he would’ve talked to me about it, I used to drink to the point of blacking out so I don’t know how I behaved, none of this is an excuse and I understand if people are uncomfortable following or supporting me and I’d like to apologize to riley for putting him in that situation. I have no “proof” to defend myself, and I also don’t want to downplay his experiences that night and regardless I clearly have both a drinking and boundary issue that need to be addressed. I can’t say without a doubt this didn’t happen and if he’d like to talk im open but i get if he doesn’t. I understand if no one believes me or thinks its convenient i don’t remember; I get that. There’s nothing I can do to change that, but I’d never want to sit silent. This is serious to me and I don’t want it to look like I was ignoring it. If there’s anything I can do for riley, you can contact me if you’re comfortable and I am honestly sorry. Sorry again to anyone I’ve ever possibly made feel this way. I understand what doing this publicly means and if you can’t support me or my platform any longer I get it, this is more than just some petty drama. I’m open to talking with anyone in private.
Another user came forward to accuse Jovan of sexual assault as well, saying their story sounded very similar to Riley’s.
i’m so glad someone stepped foward. as fucked up as this situation is, it’s relieving and validating that i’m not the only one. for two years i thought i was crazy. i made myself believe i was too fucked up, that it was my fault. and because of that i stayed quiet. https://t.co/2aZVldwme1

Adding to the list of accused stars is Justin Bieber. He has faced two claims of sexual assault in the past week, one of which he shut down immediately with receipts to back up his case.
