Kanye West Teases 2 New Albums, Including 1 With Kid Cudi

Kanye West is dropping new music in June, according to his official Twitter account.

The 40-year-old rapper reactivated his Twitter over the weekend, and since then, has been tweeting nonstop philosophical thoughts. On Thursday, he continued, but got fans excited when he announced two new upcoming albums.

“My album is 7 songs,” he tweeted. “June 1st.”

He followed up the tweets with another post announcing new music with his protege, rapper Kid Cudi, which apparently releases on June 8.

“Me and Cudi album June 8th,” he wrote. “It’s called Kids See Ghost. That’s the name of our group.”

West later teased more new projects with Teyana Taylor — who memorably starred in his “Fade” music video — and Pusha T.

West’s last studio album was The Life of Pablo, released on Feb. 14, 2016.

In September 2016, West and Cudi got into a very public feud though quickly made up. West called Cudi “the most influential artist of the last 10 years” at his show in Houston, Texas, later that month, adding, “I just wanted to take this time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he’s doing well.”

Aside from West putting out new music and continuing his YEEZY fashion line, the “Famous” rapper also recently revealed he’s putting out a philosophical book called Break the Simulation — which he’s been writing in real time on Twitter.
