A Train With Nearly 200 People Was Detained In Oregon For More Than 30 Hours

A train with nearly 200 people was detained on Oregon tracks from Sunday until Tuesday morning due to an accident with a tree. Some passengers contacted CNN to relate their experience.

 

The Amtrak train hit a tree that fell on the track. in addition to an intense snowfall, the train was paralyzed and couldn’t move any further.

 

On Tuesday morning a locomotive from Union Pacific began to move the train back to the city of Eugene Oregon.

 

Amtrak said no one was injured during the Sunday crash.
