Rihanna brings fashion live to NYC

Hip Hop music singer returned to the stage Tuesday night to bring her inclusive lingerie brand Savage X Fenty to New York Fashion Week with a fabulous show.
Rihanna transformed the Brooklyn Barclays Center into her own intimate world, complete with a Greek-inspired ensemble with stairs and white arches, and brought some of the biggest stars to the audience and the stage for her second Savage show.

Some of the best models in the industry, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls and Slick Woods, joined forces with model dancers of all shapes, ethnicities and sizes and top-level artists, including Migos, DJ Khaled, Halsey and Normani to display a colorful variety of bras, underwear, overalls and sexy underwear in the most entertaining way. And the proof is in the performance: if there was any concern about how wearable the lingerie is, all the intense dance movements showed that everything stays right where it is supposed to be, no matter how vigorous the movement is.

As if the Victoria’s Secret fashion show needed another kick while it was idle, the Savage X Fenty show gave a double blow of size and diversity to the wrestling lingerie brand as it continues to close stores and choose to “rethink” His own annual show.

The show, which fans can broadcast on Amazon Prime Video on September 20, was a track, concert and dance party event in equal parts. Here is everything you missed from the long-awaited night: Rihanna left to start the show, dancing seductively in the center, rocking in a pure black suit, a velvet miniskirt, a red lip and diamonds. Surrounded by a circle of dancers, the bass opener received applause and applause from the crowd.

For fans waiting for a singing performance or a preview of a new song, the dance routine was all Rihanna provided. (We promise that we are grateful and do not rush you with the new music!)

He did not return until his last bow at the end of the show, giving the camera and the audience a cheerful greeting before leaving the stage.

Diplo took a shortcut to get out of the arena, climbed rows of seats to escape faster after the show ended. The crowd scattered down the hall, with famous faces heading to the doors. Paris and Nicky Hilton greeted fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg in the hall before retrieving their phones from the locked boxes. (Yes, even celebrities had to give up their phones during the show).

After the show, celebrities like Kehlani and Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, stayed on Barclays’ wings while they waited for their cars. The Hilton sisters also stayed to take selfies with fans
