ICON – Is this New the Rap?

Giving Jaden Smith, Nicky Jam and Will Smith props beyond the ICON LIVING!!!

In the music industry we have a lot of successful rappers and artist that have made their way up from ground to the heights of Hollywood and beyond. So where does this leave the next generation of rappers like Jaden Smith that didn’t come from hood live but got the makings of star born and raised in a stellar world.
VivoMix.com is proud of naming Jaden Smith’s ICON the number one song for the summer of 2018, its perhaps too early to make this claim, but we’re going to roll the dice on this one. Is because he has the dollars? Is it because he was born with the silver spoon? None of that… Simply because he represents the desire of African Americans and Latinos in a world that the struggle is real. Exactly what is that desire, it’s the hope and faith that every parent wants to give their children a better life and future better than the one they have had to endure. The desire for the little guy to rise to the top and plant the seeds for a better future for generations to come.

ICON living is not about richest and ‘wanna’ be better than the next… No sir! It’s about what everyone can accomplish in their life time, it’s about the endless possibilities in a world of never ending odds, it’s about been in a world well one can be conscious and educated, not about drugs and thugs. Rap and hip-hop is the folk music of the hood and urban streets, like country music is to southerners or say a Texan.

For those dreamers, lets contemplate of Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors, because been rich is a matter of perspective… You see, even the rich southern country singers understand what means to start from the bottom up!  Oh like Fat Joe might say, “We going all the way UP!…”
