Jennifer Lopez said yes to Alex Rodriguez, and it was impossible for her to tell him no with the size of the engagement ring featuring a giant gemstone that he has given her.
The couple published in Instagram a photograph of the hands of both in which a large engagement ring is seen in one Jennifer’s finger. In the caption, the former player of the Yankees wrote “she said yes”, accompanied by a emoji heart.
The couple began their relationship in early 2017 and later that year was on the cover of the magazine Vanity Fair with the famous nickname of both: J-Rod. In January, Rodriguez told the Associated Press that he and Lopez had similar origins and the latest film from her “Second Act” reflected the links that had attracted them.
“We both have a common bond that Jennifer and I share in our lives: We were both born in New York, we are children of immigrant parents, we have two children, we are both Latino-American: her from Puerto Rico, me from the Dominican Republic. We have had ups and downs, but we are here, we are simple and we try to live the best possible lives and, at the same time, repay and return the favors, “Rodriguez said.
For Lopez it will be her fourth marriage and for Rodriguez the second. Each one has two children of previous marriages.
