Fox News Did Not Broadcast Pirro’s Program

Fox News presenter Jeanine Pirro’s program was not aired a week after she questioned Congress representative Ilham Omar for wearing a Muslim hijab. No motive was made known.
Pirro’s show  “Justice With Judge Jeanine” was replaced on Saturday night by another programming. The program does not appear on the Fox News calendar for next week.
The Network said Sunday that they won’t comment on internal programming issues.

President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday morning about the absence of Pirro, pointing out that she should reappear. “Stop working so much on being politically correct, which will only sink you, and keep fighting for our country. All losers want what you have; do not hand them over”, he said in one of his Tweets.

Pirro has not tweeted since March 10th, a day after his comments on Omar were forwarded. This is an unusually long absence for the presenter on the social media networks, where she participates frequently.

Fox News “strongly condemned” Pirro’s commentary on Omar, a representative in her first term in Congress. Pirro questioned whether the fact that Omar dressed with a hijab was “an indication of her preference for Sharia law, which is, in itself, unethical for the Constitution?”

Fox said that Pirro’s stance does not reflect that of the chain and that the news network already talked about the subject with the Pirro, but did not give more details about it.

Through Twitter, Omar thanked Fox’s News and said that no one should question a person’s commitment to the Constitution based on that person’s faith or country of origin. Omar is a Somali immigrant.
