Rams beat Bears and refuse to say goodbye to playoffs

Chicago is solidly emerging to be the disappointment of the campaign and Los Angeles wants to make up the road in the final stretch of the regular season.

The Los Angeles Rams, current NFC champions, want to have the opportunity to defend their crown in January and this Sunday they took a step in the right direction by beating Chicago Bears (who look like the disappointment of 2019) by score 17-7.

Rams needed only one room to define the match. In the second period, a 38-yard field goal by Greg Zurlein and a one-yard run by Todd Gurley to the diagonals gave Los Angeles a comfortable advantage from which they never said goodbye.

The situation was a bit complicated in the third quarter, when Mitchell Trubisky found Tarik Cohen for a 14-yard touchdown, bringing the game to a difference score.

However, the running back Malcolm Brown was responsible for giving peace of mind to all attendees at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with a five-yard scoring run at 3:31 minutes from the end.

Trubisky, out again

Just after Brown’s touchdown, Mitchell Trubisky had to be removed from the match due to discomfort, which was later determined as a hip injury. The 25-year-old quarterback’s place was taken by Chase Daniels.

In the event that the pin’s injury is considered, it would be the second time in 2019 that the North Carolina graduate would be marginalized by an injury. In week 4, during the duel against Vikings, Trubisky left the game with discomfort in the man, which left him sidelined by a compromise.
