Breaking News: Trump Declares National Emergency – Coronavirus

Washington D.C. – President Donald Trump has officially announce a State of National Emergency for the United States of America. This frees $50 billion for the states and territories to be used to combat the spread and control the coronavirus threat.



In a public speech aired live, the President brought together experts and heads of major companies from Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Google, and others to form a coalition to help combat the spread of the Corovirus. Google will provide a website that will help guide citizens determine whether they should seek testing, how and further information for personal and public care.

Major retailers, particularly Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and CVS will lend their parking to help create a drive-through for testing and make help facilitate in their respective capacities to help mitigate the crisis. This includes using their supply changes to ensure availability of medication, food and other essentials.

The President denied having any systems related to the coronavirus, and having any need to be tested. Although, after several iterations from reporters of whether he should consider testing himself, he stated that they may get tested or eventually tested when time permits. He indicated that his doctor didn’t see the need for him to be tested, while it he wasn’t clear if this was the White House doctor making the recommendations.



The stock market initially began to decline during the press conference, but then went positive as the President began to present industry experts and executives from the various US companies.
