Cardi B has expressed her desire to participate in politics. She has done so in a series of tweets in which she has communicated that “she wants to be political” because she “loves the Government” although she does not always agree with the decisions made in it. The author of ‘Invasion of Privacy‘ is openly Democratic and a follower of Bernie Sanders, with whom she has come to share an interview.
The rapper, who is still working on her second studio album, has gone so far to claim that “if I go back to school I could be part of the Congress”, pointing out that “I have a lot of ideas that make sense, I just need a couple of more years of training to change things. ” In other tweets she has shared her ideas about the regulation of the use of weapons in the United States, which in his opinion – as in thousands of people – should be controlled by “psychiatric check-ups, adequate training and age limit”. Cardi, who has called Donald Trump “terrorist” for his threats of war against Iran, has stated: “In what head should you seek to start a war against a country when your own country lacks patriotism? I rarely see people crying out that they LOVE being American. ”
In TMZ nothing less, Bernie Sanders has opined on the words of her friend Belcalis Almánzar, and has supported her in her decision to work in politics: “Cardi B is deeply concerned about what is happening in our country, she knows what it means living in poverty and having a bad time and it would be good if she could bring all her experiences to the political sphere. ” Kanye, any objections?
